Thanks to a new feature of the Winter ’08 release which is live for all Papilia clients, (and available for FREE to a limited number of prospects), nonprofits can import all donor records – including those whose email addresses you haven’t captured.

Grow Your Email List While Supporters Print Their Receipts
The system generates a universal supporter ID for each donor, which you can then use in personalized, offline communications, such as the Online Tax Receipts Direct Mail. Send them to a Personalized URL (PURL) where they’ll enter their universal supporter ID and email address to gain access to the Online Tax Receipts website. You capture their email address while they print their tax receipts. And it’s not just for tax season. We recommend that you include the universal supporter ID in your communications all year long. Just sit back and watch your email list grow.

Our experience has shown that communications regarding tax receipts tend to result in increased donations.
